The Eldridge Hotel Lawrence, Lawrence

The hotel was located in downtown Lawrence on the wonderful Massachusetts St, close to the legendary Free State Brewing Company. I loved the history of the hotel and the convenient access to many restaurant options within a few blocks. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, though they felt a bit below my expectations for a spacious upgraded room or suite.

The hotel offers spacious and very clean rooms with good amenities, like a small apartment with a living room and table. It was nice to have 2 TVs in the suite. The service was friendly and helpful, with options for dry cleaning, laundry, newspaper service, paid valet parking, and tours/ticket assistance. The location is convenient with many restaurant choices within a few blocks and close to the KU campus, although not outstanding. The dining experience, including room service, was also delicious but might vary in price. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory.

My stay at the hotel was equally fantastic. The room was beautifully appointed, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the downtown noise was minimal, making the location perfect for exploring downtown Lawrence. However, the room smelled like cigarette smoke and was missing furniture in the living room area.

My stay at this hotel was overall great! The rooms were nice and cozy, but they tended to overheat a bit too quickly. Despite not being very 'hip,' they were still comfortable. The service was fantastic, the staff was always friendly and went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. The location was ideal for my needs, right on Mass Street with plenty of dining options nearby. The only downside was that the exterior looked a bit grubby. The dining experience was delicious, but it would have been better with some advance notice. The facilities were well-equipped and functional, making my stay enjoyable.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The location was amazing, right on the main street in Lawrence, offering easy access to all the best spots in town. The rooms were comfortable; however, the presence of incandescent light bulbs in the ceiling was a bit outdated. The service was friendly but a tad slow at the restaurant. The dining options were delicious but a bit pricey. I especially enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location near various shops and restaurants.
